Summer picnics=happiness

Much like his mom and dad, Aidan enjoys a good picnic. Vermont has had weeks of rain but there have been a few nice days and we have taken advantage of every opportunity to get outside and enjoy some fresh air. I love picnics. They are a free, or relatively cheap depending on how gourmet you go with your food, way to have fun, relax and be outside. Plus, with Aidan in the messy toddler stage of learning how to feed himself, being outside has many advantages. Especially when you picnic near a lake or river and nobody blinks an eye if you strip your baby naked and dunk him in for a quick cleanup afterwards.
