Happy Friday!

Yay, it's the weekend. Kevin and I are excited to visit friends and family this weekend and we'll have a full update on Monday! Baby Duggan is doing well and he's starting to move much more frequently these days! I can't wait until he kicks hard enough for Kevin to feel it when he rubs my tummy. My growth has slowed down a little thank goodness, and today one of the young 20 something guys at work said "Wow, you don't even look pregnant from the back." I wanted to cry tears of joy and hug him and scream "Thank you for making my day!" but I didn't want to freak him out too badly. I guess that comment makes up for my eye brow waxer who so rudely insisted I check to make sure there's not another baby in my belly when I told her I was due in July. She thought I was due "any day now" and could not believe I was only having one child. If she wasn't so darn good at shaping eyebrows I may have back-handed her then and there but in the name of vanity and shapely brows, I grit my teeth and gave my best fake laugh and smile!

In other news, Kevin has put a spending smack down on me now that I've basically bought enough adorable outfits to clothe Baby Duggan until college. I may have a small problem, but it is so hard to resist these tiny little clothes that are so soft and cute! I've had to resort to registering for cute baby stuff, which is just like shopping but you don't spend any money. That makes Kevin much happier and he's even agreed to a stop at Babies "R" Us this weekend. Babies “R” Us has lots of baby crap for sale, most of it you really don't need and personally I think the store is a bit overwhelming, but we want to compare strollers and car seats to what we've already looked at and hopefully make some final decisions!
