Baby Duggan doing great!

So far Tuesday is going well. I am a bit sore from my swim class last night. I had no idea running in the pool and doing aqua aerobics could be so exhausting!

This morning we had a check up with our new Dr.and she's very nice. We went through all my test results and everything looks normal. All the tests on the baby came back with great results so that was a big relief. As far as me, my blood pressure is low, my glucose is totally normal and I'm right where I need to be for 21 1/2 weeks! I did get one heck of a shock when I saw my weight, but it's all for a good reason and next time I go to the Dr. I have to remember not to look at the scale!!!

We got to hear Baby Duggan's heartbeat and he's got a strong heart! The fast beats sounded like galloping horses.

Here is the 21 week update, enjoy.

Your baby now weighs about three-quarters of a pound and is approximately 10 1/2 inches long — the length of a carrot. His eyebrows and eyelids are fully developed. Your baby is really on the move now and you can certainly feel him move. He's oblivious to your schedule, though, so don't be surprised if he starts working out just when you're settling down for the night. Fetal researchers say babies move about 50 times an hour even while sleeping. All that movement helps stimulate your baby's physical and mental development. You may not notice 50 kicks, punches, and twirls during the day, but as you're settling down at night, don't be surprised if your little guy seems ready to dance the night away.
