George Bush is an idiot but what else is new...

Last night Kevin hooked up the new TV while I made dinner and we were so excited to sit down and watch something good in High Def but the only damn thing on was the State of the Union address, UGH! Although the address did start of interesting in the beginning when Barack turned his back on Hillary, ohhh snap! Check out the new TV, although ignore all the smudges! I had no idea how smudged it was with all our fingerprints until I loaded this pic! I'll have to go home and wipe it down tonight.
And please don't say anything about my wrinkled curtains! I know most people may iron curtains when they buy them, but I was hoping the wrinkles would just drop out on their own. I'm going to keep holding on to that glimmer of hope because there is not much in this world I despise more than ironing!

Anyway, the high def was great for catching all the idiotic faces George Jr. makes...and I was seriously fascinated by how many times Cheney buttoned and unbuttoned his jacket each time he stood. I mean really, leave it unbuttoned Dick, nobody cares about you anyway!
The TV looks a lot better in person, and the picture is fantastic. I can't wait to watch the Superbowl and see Tom Brady up close and personal in high def!!! Yum. Even Lily is excited about football this week... That's her favorite toy and she loves to play football with us!

After dinner I almost had a serious meltdown when I went to the freezer to retrieve a pint of Ben & Jerry's we had just bought Sunday and to my utter shock and dismay it was almost gone...KEVIN!Look at this guilty face! He left one bite. Not cool Kevin, not cool. The baby was pissed! Ha ha. The baby is getting bigger and in week 16 lots of cool things are happening. I'll leave you with this update, Have a great day.

**Just a disclaimer, this describes the baby as a she, but we still won't know the sex for 20 more days!**

How your baby's growing:
At 4 1/2 inches long (head to bottom) and 3 1/2 ounces, your baby is about the size of an avocado. In the next three weeks, she'll go through a tremendous growth spurt, though, doubling her weight and adding inches to her length. Her lower limbs are much more developed now. Her head is more erect than it has been, and her eyes have moved toward the front of her head. Your baby's ears are close to their final position, too. Some of her more advanced body systems are working, including her circulatory system and urinary tract. Her heart is now pumping about 25 quarts of blood each day, circulating her total blood volume through her body many times. (By the end of your pregnancy, this will increase to about 190 quarts.) The patterning of her scalp has begun, though her hair isn't recognizable yet. Although closed, her eyes are moving (slowly), and she's even started growing toenails. Her fingernails and toenails will continue to grow, so don't be surprised if she needs them trimmed soon after birth.
