Aidan's Art Show

Aidan's daycare had an art show last night and Kevin and I were proud parents. It was hilarious first of all to be invited to an art show for our 6 month old. The daycare includes toddlers and preschoolers as well so I could understand having a show for their work but I wasn't sure what to expect for the babies. I knew they did art projects with Aidan but I had no idea he had "created" so many wonderful things. Obviously he gets a lot of help from his teachers, but the paintings he has done are so adorable and I will always treasure them! The best part about the show was that next to each piece of art, they posted photos of the babies creating and the pictures are too funny. Aidan seemed to get more paint on his face than he did on the paper, but he wasn't alone. Many of the babies were covered head to toe in paint in these pictures. Enjoy these pictures from Aidan's first art show...

A picture from the wall of Aidan making the valentine. I love his pink mouth!

Each week the school chooses a different theme and the kids learn about that theme and then make art projects relating to it. This Dinosaur was from...you guessed it, dinosaur week. I don't know how much Aidan learned if anything about the dinosaurs but they did read books on dinosaurs to the babies and let them play with toy dinosaurs. I can guarantee all those dinosaurs went straight in Aidan's mouth like everything else these days. This is the babies play room where Aidan spends his days
There is a baby birthday wall and they made snowmen for winter. Aidan is next to his favorite girl Molly who is a real cutie pie. Aidan likes the older girls, Molly is almost 1!

We went to check out the toddler room and see their art

We had a nice time hanging with Aidan's teachers and seeing what he does everyday! He is in very good hands at his play school and he seems extremely happy there.
