Tuesday was a day of celebration for the United States and myself. I was so excited to see President Bush leave office and our new leader, President Obama take his oath. The mood in Vermont and at my office was joyful and we celebrated with an Inauguration Potluck! I made my southern style pulled pork, and it was delicious. Everybody at my office brought something yummy and we all gathered to watch the festivities. I will always remember this great day in history and I'm so glad my son will grow up in a country that has finally been able to push beyond the boundaries of race and gender. I know we still have a long way to go to reach true equality for all people, but our new President was a step in that direction and I look forward to seeing more progression and change in my lifetime. Here are a few pics of

Dig in everybody!

Yes somebody brought a bucket of chicken and one person brought 2 dozen donuts! It was a random but delicious array of foods!
