Yep, he fell asleep while jumping! Cutest thing I've ever seen...
Although I would have rather had Kevin go with Aidan and me to Atlanta, I still had a great time and I really enjoyed our holiday season this year. After our relaxing and quiet Christmas at home, Kevin, Aidan, Lily and I headed to Connecticut for the Duggan family get together and making gift swap. The 4.5 hour drive went off without a hitch because Aidan slept for the first 3 hours! Once he woke up, we stopped at a Marriott hotel off the highway, fed and changed him and we managed to get right back on the road again. The Duggan clan was in full force and we had a whirlwind few hours with everybody. It was really great to see the family!
Aidan was a big hit with his cousins who all wanted to give him toys
He just wanted to eat them all
Cousin Maddie holds "Baby Aidan" as they called him
Aidan and Charlie became buddies. When Aidan went down for a nap, Charlie wanted to check in on him and bring him toys. It was very sweet!

I had fun with my adorable nieces Maddie and Charlie
Notice the chocolate face, I love it!Unfortunately the visit was too quick, and after spending a fun night at my sister in law Monica's house, I woke up at 3:30 a.m. to catch a 6 a.m. flight to Atlanta. I could have taken a later flight but the early one was the cheapest and the best option for Aidan. I figured he usually wakes up around 6 a.m. eats and goes back for an hour nap so I was banking on that for the flight. Of course he was awake for the entire flight, of course. I must say though, he was such a good baby and he smiled and laughed so much that I got multiple compliments from the people sitting around me. I think they were so bummed when they saw they were sitting near a baby and so thrilled when he didn't cry at all! It is so funny to watch peoples faces when you get on a plane with an infant. I admit I used to be one of those people, trying not to stare at the lady with the baby but secretly wishing they were sitting as far away from me as possible! Ha, how times have changed!
Atlanta was a really refreshing break from the cold of Vermont and a relaxing few days spent with my family. I enjoyed my time so much and to watch my parents get so much joy from spending time with their grandson makes me so happy. So happy and relaxed indeed that I completely forgot to take any pictures! Gasp....I am so annoyed with myself. I am a camera crazed mommy but I only took a few pictures during my entire visit. Here they are...

Visiting with my friend Marcy who was 35 weeks pregnant and looked amazing!
The dashboard of the car when Kevin picked me up. I left 50+ degree weather in Atlanta and came home to snow and 6 degrees!!!
It was a wonderful trip and so good to see my family.
