When Aidan was going through his growth spurt a few weeks ago we were exhausted and unable to keep him happy and full so we decided to try solids. With his pediatrician's ok, we started Aidan on some rice cereal. He didn't really understand how to swallow the cereal at first and he made some pretty funny faces and odd noises! Overall, I think it went ok, but at 4 1/2 months it was just a bit too early for him to eat solids. If nothing else, the experience provided some great photos for Nana Caz who asks for more pics everyday! Now he is 5 months and we're going to try again over the Holidays and hopefully this time he'll actually eat some of the cereal instead of just wearing it. We'll keep you posted!

The bib goes on and he loves that too. So much so that he decides he'll just eat the bib!
