Lifes a Beach in Hilton Head!

We've had such a great time during our visit to Hilton Head and sadly we are leaving today to head back to Atlanta for the last few days of our vacation. Mary and Bill have loved having their cute little grandson visit and Aidan loves Nana and Papa's and even slept 10 hours last night!!! That makes Mom and Dad very happy!

Aidan slept almost the entire first day, it must have been all the sea air!Don't Kevin and his dad look alike?We tried to get Aidan in the water but he was tired and hungry! Hanging in the heated pool that was like bath water! I've decided I love heated pools, there's no need to ever swim in a cold pool again when you can take a dip like this!

Aidan comes alive about 10 p.m and here he is discovering my hair! He has been so much fun this week and he's trying to talk, it's hilarious!
Kevin and I rode bikes in the mornings and on this day we went on a Gator hunt!!!

We tried everyday to get Aidan in the pool but he was always sleeping. Finally on our last day at the pool he was awake and ready to check it out. I know it doesn't look like it here, but he really did love the water. We decided to try him in the indoor heated pool and he loved it! We have a water baby for sure...
Thank you Mary and Bill for a lovely vacation! We had such a great time and I can't wait to bring Aidan down again when he's a little older. Next time he'll be eating fistfuls of sand for sure. The sun and sea did wonders for us all, Aidan slept like he has never slept before and we got a relaxing break from the chilly weather in Vermont. Going back to a cold Fall is going to be extra hard after this great break in Hilton Head!
