Whoa, due to an overzealous construction crew severing some cables, our Internet, phone and e-mail all went down today at work and it was like traveling back in time. I didn't know what to do with myself, how could I work? I didn't, I chose to take Lily for a nice long walk along the bike path instead and it was wonderful and relaxing. I got back a short while ago and everything just got fixed, but for most of the day we had no access to the outside world and it made me wonder how things ever got done before e-mail?
Luckily I was out of the office some of the morning attending my 32 week Doctor's visit. Kevin went with me and it looks like everything is going great with Baby Duggan. He is growing and so am I, his heart beat sounds strong, my blood pressure is low, and basically we are doing great. I do have an ultrasound scheduled for a few weeks to see how big he is, but the Dr. seems less concerned today than she was last week so I'm not worried if she's not worried! I have been feeling really good since I last saw her so I'm happy and trying to be patient and wait for this baby!
Kevin had a Doctor's appointment of his own today after he chipped his front tooth off at the dog park! I got a panicked phone call from him after he dropped me off at work saying he had knocked his tooth out, so I rushed to meet him and lo and behold, he has a tiny chip! Yes, it looks bad, but judging from his phone call I was prepared for him to be missing 5 teeth and covered in blood!!! Apparently Lily got into a scuffle with another dog (who was the aggressor because as you know, Lily is a gentle lamb) and when Kevin went to pull her away from the dog baring his teeth, the metal part of her leash popped up and smacked him in the mouth! Ouch. I so wish I had a picture to post right now and also an audio recording of Kevin lisping. Ha ha, just kidding honey, it's not that bad. Hee hee. Unfortunately for Kevin, his dentist was too busy to fix it today, and he has to go back Tuesday morning at 8 a.m. for a new tooth! I promise, pictures will be coming soon...
Not much other news today, now that we are back online I have to go and catch up on a long list of e-mails, but I'll leave you with the 32 week update!

By now, your baby weighs 3.75 pounds and is about 16.7 inches long, taking up a lot of space in your uterus. You're gaining about a pound a week and roughly half of that goes right to your baby. In fact, he'll gain a third to half of his birth weight during the next 7 weeks as he fattens up for survival outside the womb. He now has toenails, fingernails, and real hair (or at least respectable peach fuzz). His skin is becoming soft and smooth as he plumps up in preparation for birth.
