Wow, I can't believe I haven't blogged since last Monday! I was so busy at work last week that time got away from me and I completely forgot to update the blog. Well finally the weather has turned the corner and it looks like Spring may have arrived! We still have snow covering most of our back yard, and two unsightly snow piles in the front yard, but they are melting rapidly and I predict that by FRIDAY the snow will all have melted. I'll have a picture update on Friday to see if I'm right!
Last week flew by since I was bogged down at work but that was good because Kevin was out of town in LA and then NY and I missed him! Lily missed him too and sometimes when he travels she gets very depressed. She is getting moody in her old age! I try and cheer her up with extra treats and bones and I brought her to my office to play with the other dogs. She loves to visit my office because everyone loves her and pets her and of course feeds her treats. Needless to say, she's got a little extra winter girth that we need to work off now that warmer temps have arrived!
Kevin went to LA on business but he stayed with Mel and Suzanne and they had a great visit. I asked Kevin to take some pictures with his sister and Suzanne, but all I got were some pics of Mel's house and their dog Stella from a distance. Uh, thanks Kev!

After his visit in LA, Kevin flew to NY to meet up with our friends and see Widespread Panic on Saturday night. His flight was delayed Friday, but he eventually got in and Jody and Meredith were nice enough to pick him up at the airport, thanks guys! He hung out with them and Rob and Rosie Friday night and Saturday morning. I was jealous I wasn't there, and Kevin offered to fly me down for a quick visit but I have been so tired lately the thought of going to NJ for such a short trip was too daunting. I'm glad I didn't go because I ended up falling asleep at 7:30 p.m. on Friday night and I slept until 8:30 Saturday morning!
Kevin had a blast at the concert and of course hanging out with his boys.

I had a lazy Saturday and did a few things around the house, I took Lily for a long walk, read about 5 magazines and caught up on 2 weeks worth of Oprah, it was fantastic! Yesterday I drove to Burlington to pick up my friend Kristen who is pregnant and due two weeks before me and we went to yoga. Yoga was so much fun because it was packed with 30 pregnant women! For the first half hour we laughed and some cried as we shared our stories on how we were feeling and coping with the pregnancy. It is so nice to have that support group and afterwards we did yoga and stretching for the next hour. Feeling great, I went and got my first pedicure of the Spring/Summer season!

With pretty toes I went and met Kevin when he landed, and we went out for a wonderful lunch and then strolled downtown Burlington and soaked up the sun on what was the first truly warm and sunny day of this year. We went home and took Lily for a long walk as well, anything to be outside as much as possible!
All is well on the baby front. I am 26 weeks pregnant now! I totally forgot to post the 25 week update last week, but I'll have a new update this week so not to worry. Baby Duggan is kicking and moving like crazy and for the first time this past week I could see my stomach moving! It was freaky to see it ripple and move, but I love it. It only took 6+ months, but I have to say I am really enjoying being pregnant right now. I love feeling the baby move and I feel healthier than I ever have in my life!
