Right now I am blogging from Burlington's "International" airport. I put International in quotes because that seems like a joke to me, you can't directly go anywhere outside of the U.S. from here except Canada so is that really International? I shouldn't knock the airport though, I do love the free wi-fi access and the fact that the airport is so small you can literally park your car, check in, get through security and get to the gate in 10 minutes flat. I know, I have done it a few too many times, arriving at the gate with seconds to spare before boarding. Being as I'm 7 months pregnant and moving a little slower than I used to, I gave myself a solid hour today and so I thought I'd post a quick update. Kevin and I are heading to Atlanta for the weekend while a friend house sits for us and takes care of Lily. Lily gets very sad when we go away and it starts from the moment we get out the bags to pack. Today was no different and it broke my heart to leave her but I have to keep reminding myself, she's a dog Angela, she'll be just fine!
Kevin and I are going to Atlanta for the baby shower my mom is throwing me this Saturday and we're really excited because his parents Mary and Bill are coming up from Hilton Head and we have a whole fun filled weekend planned! We triple checked and we DID bring the camera and it's fully charged, so I'll be sure to capture some pics of the festivities.
Currently the temp in Atlanta is 75 and sunny, you can't beat that! It's time to board now, I've got my latest issue of People magazine and some snacks...Atlanta here we come!
