Cute right? I am excited to wear short sleeves again and start breaking out the spring clothes! I spray tanned my arms today too. Ha ha...I know I sound crazy but I think it's exciting stuff! I am so pale white that I'm glowing so I busted out the "Lancome Airbrush Tan" and went to town. Luckily my skin likes this stuff and I don't turn orange, just a light golden brown. Ok maybe not golden brown but you get the idea.Kevin and I woke up early today and I was actually early to work which never happens! I guess I was just eager to get outside since it was
Doesn't Kevin look tough here as we head to work?
Melt Watch Alert!!!
Check out the progress on the rapidly melting back yard. Even though we have to go through mud season next, it will be so wonderful when all this white stuff is officially gone! We're making progress from yesterday for sure:
Well I am officially halfway through my 26th week of pregnancy and feeling great. Here's this weeks update, enjoy!
How your baby's growing:
Your baby now weighs about a pound and two-thirds and measures 14 inches from head to heel. The nerve pathways in his ears are developing, which means his response to sounds is growing more consistent. His lungs are developing now, too, as he continues to take small breaths of amniotic fluid — good practice for when he's born and takes that first breath of air. His weight will more than triple between now and birth as he rapidly puts on baby fat. He'll need that fat to help adjust to colder temperatures outside the womb and as a source of energy and calories in the first days of life. It's not uncommon for newborns, especially those who are breastfed, to lose weight (sometimes as much as 10 percent of their birth weight) in the first week after birth. If you're having a boy, his testicles are beginning to descend into his scrotum — a trip that will take about two to three days.
