We have a huge box of gorgeous hand me downs from my sister in law Monica waiting for Aidan in size 2T but hardly any clothes left that fit him right now at 8 months, so today we went and got him a few outfits. He is 8 months old and wearing size 12-18 month clothing! Um...he's a big boy. Perhaps the fact that he eats as if he has a hollow stomach has something to do with it. He is eating so many more foods these days and he loves to feed himself. This week his favorite foods are strawberries cut up, peas, chicken, salmon, and bacon. I only gave him a tiny taste of bacon, but he loved it!
Basically, Aidan will eat absolutely anything and love it. I'll enjoy this while it lasts, because I hear it won't last too long. I was pleasantly surprised when he wolfed down some salmon and whole wheat pasta this weekend. Anyway, we got him some very cute clothes today but we held off on getting any summer outfits like shorts because by the time the hot weather rolls in a couple of months, I suspect Aidan will have already gone up a size!
