Aidan feels better, yeah!

We had a nice weekend at home and laid low so Aidan had time to rest and feel better. It seems that he is almost 100% and thankfully back to normal. I'm so happy because it was very hard to watch him not feel well and him not be able to tell us what was wrong.

Here he is all smiles and feeling better in his Georgia red!It is super cold here in Vermont and we have tons of snow! Saturday the temps were hovering around 7 degrees all day. Instead of snowboarding, Kevin opted to stay warm and cozy at home so I went to the gym for 3 hours and had a nice morning to myself. I am working hard to lose this unsightly weight that is lingering from the pregnancy. I had hoped between breastfeeding and juggling a full time job and a baby it might melt away but unfortunately noooooo...I still look pregnant! UGH. Since I quit breastfeeding a few weeks ago, I think I have actually started to gain weight. So, I have admitted to myself that perhaps my metabolism is not what it once was in College when I could eat and drink what I wanted and exercise was something we called "walking to the bar." I have joined Weight Watchers™ and I intend to lose this weight and get in shape! I'm working out 3-4 times a week and so far things are going very well. Kevin is being wonderfully supportive and has stopped bringing home gallons of ice cream;) Aidan is growing so fast pretty soon I'll be chasing around after him and I'll need to be in excellent shape to keep up with the little guy. He had a few big weeks recently, he got his FIRST TOOTH over Christmas week and the following week his second tooth came in. I have been trying to get photos for the blog but they are hard to see because he is constantly running his tongue over his new teeth. I'll keep trying! Aidan has also started sitting up unsupported. He can usually only go for a minute or two before he topples to one side, but the stretches are getting longer and he absolutely loves to be upright. If he's lying down, he tries to sit up and he's just delighted when we help him out. I'll post more pictures later this week, for now I have to help out Kevin who is bathing Aidan.
