OMG can I clone myself please?

I feel like there is just not enough time in the day and I am running flat out trying to get everything done. I went back to work last week and I started back with a brand new job. I used to work in Operations but due to some turnover while I was out, I segued into Traffic and I'm now the new Project Manager for the Traffic Department. Yeah for me, but this means I have to learn everything about every job flowing through our studio and my brain is so full it hurts. It will take me a few weeks to get up to speed and juggling this with Aidan and our hectic schedules is making me a little stressed! I want to do a good job at work and I enjoy working but at the same time I want to be with Aidan and feel guilty because I am not. I have such respect for working mothers, I had no idea how difficult these decisions would be! Luckily I have a great boss who is making my re-entry to work life a lot less painful! Also Aidan is adapting to day care and the ladies there adore him. Today he even took a 3 1/2 hour nap! He has never napped that long for us, so he must be comfortable enough to sleep. He is a very happy baby and there is just nothing in this world better than seeing his big tooth free gums as he smiles at his mommy and daddy!

Aidan is 3 months old tomorrow and growing so quickly. He is growing longer and filling out his cloths but not getting chunky. I keep waiting for some chunky legs and rolls of baby fat, but he really isn't getting that many rolls. I think he'll be tall and thin like his father.

This past weekend we enjoyed some great Fall weather and had a few friends over for a bonfire, some homemade chili and a few beers. It was a fun afternoon and our friends have an adorable 5 month old son so Aidan had a playmate! Emily and her son Cashel
On Sunday we took Aidan and went out for breakfast and we planned to take him for his first hike but the temperature was hovering around 29 degrees and we thought it was just too cold. Instead we waited until it warmed up a bit and then we picked out a few pumpkins at the Ben & Jerry's great pumpkin giveaway.
We got free pumpkins and ice cream for donating to our local food bank. Sunday night Kevin went to see Trey Anastasio while I babysat Aidan and our friend's 3 year old son Cooper. I could have gone to the show, but I was not that interested in having a late night when I had to work the next day and honestly, I am just not quite ready to leave Aidan with a stranger yet. We don't have any baby sitters here and I don't know the lady our friends use so I volunteered instead. Call me a loser, but I was not ready to leave our precious baby boy yet!

So far this week is flying by and the weatherman said we might get SNOW showers tonight. NO!!! I am not at all ready for snow. Last year at this time it was 72 degrees and sunny so you never can tell what Vermont weather will do. I hope we have one more warm spell before it snows though, I already miss summer.

Enjoy the photos of Aidan, he is such a cutie pie and is "talking"a mile a minute as I write this. In the last week he has become so much more vocal, it is so much fun to hear him discovering his own voice.

Here he is holding onto his favorite toys Aidan loves his froggie and clutches it when he naps
Look at those big blue eyes. So adorable. Still holding the froggie!
Aidan practiced sitting up in his chair I'm not so sure he likes the chair yet. Lily is very jealous poor girl!

Have a great week!

XOXO
Angela
