First Fall Weekend!

Can you beleive Aidan is 7 weeks tomorrow? Here he is on Saturday, dressed up in his UGA finest for game day! Go Dawgs, they crushed Central Michigan 56 to 17!

Aidan is starting to grab for things, like our noses, and he just discovered his feet and is almost able to grab them.

Aidan has officially moved on to clothes that are 3-6 months in size now. He is not even 2 months old but already outgrown everything we have that is 0-3 months in size!!
Munchkin gets a bath now every other day and he is slowly starting to enjoy them!

Kevin and I had a great weekend! Friday night we went to Burlington for the annual Art Hop, which is a huge annual event showcasing more than 600 artists in over 100 gallery spaces. We only made it to one gallery!!! In our defense it was more of a big party and we had a blast and up until his 9:00 p.m. "witching hour," Aidan was a perfect angel. We ran into lots of friends and co-workers who hadn't yet met Aidan so it was fun to chat and catch up. Here's my friend Kristen and her daughter Audrey who is 3 weeks older than Aidan.

Sleeping beauties!
Notice Aidan busted out the summer plaid shorts onesie for the occasion! It was 90 degrees and sweltering on Friday, such unusual weather for September.

Saturday it rained most of the day which was a total bummer because we were looking forward to going to a friends BBQ. The rain did eventually stop but we bailed on the party anyway. Pre-Aidan we would have still gone, a little drizzle can't ruin a party in Vermont, but probably not a great idea to take a 6 week old out into the damp, cold evening. Instead we went out for Italian food and Aidan woke up and got very fussy before the meal came but luckily we had a bottle so we just took turns eating and had a good time. I even changed his diaper in the booth, I'm getting good at these things!

Yesterday was a picturesque perfect Fall day in Vermont!

Absolutely beautiful weather. Kevin and I enjoyed the day tooling around Stowe and we met up with our friends John, Lindsay and their daughter Avery. We went out for pizza and wings after our walk, it was a fun evening!
Unfortunately the corn maze was closed but Kevin and I are definitely going back to check it out soon. There's a haunted corn maze at Halloween we may have to go to.

The clouds roll in over Stowe and Mt. Mansfield
Aidan slept for the entire walk as he often does

Great weekend, I'm sad it's over. This week the weather looks to be beautiful so I plan to get outside as much as possible.
