Kevin and I saw Tropic Thunder with Aidan this morning and it was hysterical!! Every Thursday the theater has a "mommy and me" movie that you can take your babies to and today we were the only ones there. We had the whole theater to ourselves which was great! We took the stroller in and when Aidan woke up I changed him and fed him and he went back to sleep. I can't believe we actually got to enjoy a movie. If you like Ben Stiller and his sense of humor you will love this film!

Here are some pics...

We put a bib on Aidan to catch all the vomit!

I love this picture, he looks so funny!

The baby acne is starting to clear up

After the last blog post I received an overwhelming number of responses. I am stunned not only by how many people actually read this blog, but also how many friends have told me that their babies had the exact same reflux issues. I am relieved to hear how very common it is and lots and LOTS of people confessed to also letting their children sleep in the car seats until the reflux passed or they grew out of it! What a relief!

Kevin is on vacation until Tuesday, and LOVING being home I must say, and so last night we decided to try to go out for dinner. It was a gorgeous day yesterday so we decided to walk into the village and have dinner outside at one of the local restaurants. Usually as soon as he gets in the stroller Aidan's eyes get heavy but for some reason he was wide awake. We walked and walked but he still didn't fall asleep so we decided what the heck, we'll go sit down anyway since he's calm and probably on his way to sleep. Of course just as soon as the drinks had been ordered he started spitting up. No big deal but I was in a panic because I knew a full on melt down was moments away. I was right. We ended up canceling the order and hurried out of the restaurant just as Aidan started to scream. We ended up with takeout and an upset baby, but we still had a nice night and after we got him calm, Aidan slept for 6 hours! Not bad. Here's our new nightly routine, pretty funny...

We strap him in the car seat and sing him to sleep
Go to sleep Aidan

We're headed to Connecticut tomorrow to visit family and friends, so we'll post an update on Monday. Have a great weekend!
