I felt the baby move!!!

Very exciting things are happening in my belly! I felt the baby move for the first time as I was sitting last night. It felt like someone was tickling me from the inside, a very strange but amazing feeling. I thought I had felt it last weekend but I wasn't sure if it was just gas (sorry, sad but true!) but last night I felt it a few times in a row and it was definitely the baby moving. Such a cool experience, it's really hard to explain but I am overjoyed!

I'm going to pre-natal yoga this evening and I'm excited to go back. I'm hoping with an hour and a half of quiet stretching and meditation, perhaps I'll feel the baby move again. I've read that at first you really only feel it when you are lying or sitting and paying attention. Pretty soon I'll be feeling it all the time!

Kevin's good friend Joe Bennett is visiting us through Sunday from Connecticut. He and a friend from Boston are snowboarding today and tomorrow at Stowe. Joe sent this pic today from his Blackberry. Um thanks Joe for the great shot of the gondola?! Some scenery would have been nice;) The conditions look great today, beautiful blue skies.

On Saturday, Kevin and Joe are going Jay Peak to snowboard and Kevin's really excited to go for the first time! Jay Peak has a unique geographical location, and because of this it gets more snow than anywhere else in New England. It also has a 2,000-ft. vertical, massive glade system and the only aerial tram in Vermont. It's located in the northern most part of Vermont practically on the Canadian border.

I won't be joining the boys on this trip, instead I'm getting a massage Saturday afternoon. Lets see what would I rather be doing...outside in the freezing cold or warm and cozy getting a massage. Hmmm, that's an easy one! Anyway, I hope they have fun and don't pick any fights with the French Canadians!
